Reactavox EPK - February 2006

Reactavox is a Chicago based duo that has been consistently writing and performing their blend of indie rock since 1998. The band has played in both dives and larger clubs in major US markets including Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, New York City, Athens, etc. Now working with Darwin Records on their 4th release (spring '06) the band is actively booking dates in the midwest and along the east coast for 2006.

The band has released several recordings since 1988 and been featured on a number of compilations as follows:

- Self Titled Demo- (2002) 3 songs recorded at Studio Chicago featuring Chuck Sunshine
- Weerdo (2004 - Cherrybone Records) 4 song EP recorded at Playground Studios with Keith Cleversley and Andy Bosnack engineering
- One Kind Compilation - Vol. 2 (2005 - One kind Radio) - 13 song compilation featuring "Wish" as the lead track

Reactavox has recevied airplay on over 200+ US stations and climbed to #153 on the CMJ charts. The band has also received airplay on France's Babes in Boyland and Austrialia's Bonemachine. Sonicbids listed Reactavox as the featured band in July 2005 and the song PARASITE was given the coveted top 5 award for the KIAC BIG 50 Charts, affilliated with Independent Artists Company.
